Winter 33°C (2013)

Synopsis

Winter 33°C is essentially about life – our experiences and memories that leave a lasting impression, and the different interpretations of the world around us. With two choreographers from vastly diverse backgrounds and influences, Winter 33°C will be a juxtaposition of East and West. It will highlight both their distinctive styles, which are contrasting yet complimentary.

The choreographers will be working on two separate dance pieces, and will infuse their thoughts and interpretations within the movements of the dancers. Through exploring human consciousness and metaphysics, and by examining the inherent blueprints of our thoughts and feelings, KTDC look forward to presenting the unique season that is Winter 33°C.

Voice multi connection of agreements unconscious. Assault. Different dynamics, confronting the reality and the subconscious. Abstraction of indecisions. Avoidance of thought that makes us feel wrong to not be like they come… The happiness of a journey without destination. Bringing fragments of memories that melt on a forgotten mood but very present.
