    This is a jazz ballet. It combines classical ballet steps and modern jazz dance steps. It also adds a variety of new dance steps, combined with traditional and modern music, which is deeply loved by the audience.

    In winter, the girls are not afraid of the severe cold weather, they enjoy skating outdoors and play with each other, full of youthful vitality. This dance is taken from the first section of “Skating Waltz”.

    冬季里,少女們不畏严寒的氣候,盡情在戶外作溜冰運動,互相路戲,充滿青春活力。此舞摘自溜冰圆舞曲首段。

  • Title:Kong Que Wu 孔雀舞
  • Item Synopsis / Program Notes:

    This large-scale dance shows a group of lying peacocks gradually waking up in the rising sun. They go down to drink water, take a bath, and finally climb on the branches, sprinkle their beautiful tails, and look back peacefully. The peacock dance is a dance of the Dai ethnic group in Yunnan, China. The Dai people regard the beautiful peacock as a symbol of auspiciousness and happiness.

    這套大型的舞蹈表現一群卧躺着的孔雀,在朝陽中漸漸蘇醒過來,它們下山喝水,洗澡,最后登上枝頭,洒下美丽的尾巴,安详的回頭望。孔雀舞是中國云南傣族舞蹈,傣族人民將美丽的孔雀视為吉祥和幸福的象徵。
