Fugitives 逃亡 (2013)
Synopsis
Fugitives was written by Singaporean writer Alfian Sa’at, based on the “Five Cardinal Hierarchical Relationships” in Confucianism. Fugitive was premiered in Singapore in 2002 and was then invited to perform in Germany in 2010.
Through anecdotes of a typical small Singaporean family, Fugitive arouses deep thoughts on society’s problems.
The story tells about a normal Singaporean family, living a monotonous life. They did not realize that bit and pieces happening every day, is actually changing their life slowly and intangibly. Storm behind the peaceful life is approaching them, pushing hem to the next junction of life.
The drama reflects issues from vary aspects in life, including family ethics, religion, gender, society and culture. It Highlights the common social philosophy hidden in our daily life.
《逃亡》根據儒學中的「五倫」發想構思，由新加坡著名劇作家Alfian Sa’at 撰寫丶黃浩威翻譯，2002年在新加坡首演，並於2010年受邀赴德國演出。
本劇經由典型的新加坡小家庭，透過生活上的種種逸事來探討人生與生存的各式課題。一戶普通不過的新加坡家庭，日復一日的過著他們普通不過的生活。然而，他們並沒有意識到，每個日子里所發生的事，其實都在一點一點改變和影響他們。暗藏在平凡背後的波濤起伏，已經把他們帶到人生的下一個關口…
《逃亡》嘗試從道德丶家庭倫理丶宗教丶性別丶地方社會及文化等，逐一探究人生活的多種面向。從生活上的細微處，發現恆常普遍存在的哲學和社會議題思考。
