Really Dance Show 真会如此 (1992)

When the guitars played the Latin music, We shall presents our-selves. This is a rather perculiar ”TRIO”. What’s your opinion.

是美    是丑
其实    见仁见智

What is the happiest thing in your life?
First in school? Winning a lottery? Successful performance?
Wish you could share aour happiness.

你一生中最开心的事是什么？
考第一名？
中彩票？
演出成功？
愿与您一起分享我们开心时刻。

This piece is inspired by the Indonesian poet,
TAUFIQ ISMAIL’S POEM “The Republic is ours”.
The republic is ours
There is no other choice. We must
Go on
Because to stop or withdraw
Would mean destruction
Ought we sell our certitude
For meaningless slavery
Or sit at table
With the murderers
Who end each sentence
“As Your Majesty wishes”

We are the people with sad eyes, at the edge of the road
Waving at the crowded buses
We are the tens of millions living in misery
Beaten about by flood, volcano, curses and pestilence
Who silently ask in the name of freedom
But are ignored in the thousand slogans
And meaningless loud-speaker voices
There is no other voice. We must
Go on

此舞的灵感来自印尼诗人TAUFIQ ISMAIL的诗，
「我们是这社会的合法拥有者。」

没有选择，我们必须
前进
因为停止或放弃
即是毁灭
或许我们应该售出自己的信心
于毫无意义的奴隶制度
或者坐下
与凶手一起
他们替每一个句子结语「万岁、万岁、万岁」

我们带着悲伤的眼，站在路旁
向着那挤满人的巴士挥手
我们，数百万个在悲哀中生活
被水灾、火山、诅咒、病菌猛击
我们安静的以自由的名义要求
但却在那千千万万个口号中
从播音器发出之毫无意义的声音中淹没
没有选择，我们必须
前进

Green is life, Gold is energy
But, man still proceed to death, unknowingly.
