Seru (2016)

Synopsis

A collection of major short contemporary dance works produced by Joseph Gonzales, and choreographed together with the company. The dances have been inspired by true events in Malaysia as well as around the globe. Seru means “to call, to appeal, to exclaim…” — a call by the many senseless, horrific and unresolved events in our recent history that have impacted society. Perhaps it is also a call to respond, to be, to rise, to gather, to support, to feel… to create and to express.
