Najip Ali, Ok Chope

Seniman, the Malaysian Artistes Association, lodged a police report against Singapore game show, OK Chope! following comments by a panel of celebrities deemed to be insulting to Prime Minister Najib Razak. Mediacorp, the producer of the show, and Najip Ali, a Singapore comedian, issued formal apologies. Shortly after, Najip Ali was dropped as the host of Malaysian reality show, Maharaja Lawak Mega 2017 by ASTRO.
