Artist J.Anu’s mixed media work, from his ‘Alphabet Soup’ series was accused of insulting Islam and removed from the M50 Selamat Hari Malaysia exhibition at MAPS Publika, Kuala Lumpur. The work in fact was critical of G.W. Bush’s ‘War on Terror’. Following interviews with the police, the artist was cleared of any wrongdoing.
