Organised by the Buka Kolektif, co-founded by Poodien, Sharon Chin and Rahman Haron, the two day performance art festival was held at Balai Seni Visual Negara. During the festival, performance artists Fared Ayam recited the Azan after dousing himself with beer. Gallery guards were upset and threatened to harm the artist to make him stop. Ayam was told to leave for his safety by the curators. The following day, a public forum was held at Balai, where Buka Collective read out a statement, containing an apology.
