- Other Information:
There is no mention in the programme book of which English translation of Aristophanes’ original Greek text was used for the production. However, there is mention of a Malay translation by Raja Zahabuddin Yaacob, directed by Faridah Merican and read by Nor Azizan, Ahmad Borhan, Omar Abdullah, and Latif Muslim. It is unknown how the Malay translation was presented. We believe that audience members were presented with the Malay translation via earphones. This method was used for “The Caucasian Chalk Circle” by Phoenix 61, staged in the same venue. If you have any information on this matter, please contact us.
