Ola Bola The Musical (2018)

Synopsis

Inspired by true events of the Malaysian football team’s journey to the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, and adapted from the 2016 box-office hit movie, Ola Bola The Musical is a story of unity, determination and brotherhood. We follow the journey of “Tauke” Chow Kwok Keong, the team Captain who is determined to lead the Harimau Malaya team to the Olympic glory, and his best friend, the very affable wannabe sports commentator Rahman. We meet team goalkeeper, Muthu, team star striker Ali and the rest of the colourful team, and through their dreams and challenges of their journey to the Olympics, we learn of a time when this little nation of ours believed in dreaming big.

Diilhamkan oleh peristiwa sebenar pasukan bola sepak Malaysia ke Sukan Olimpik 1980 di Moscow, dan diadaptasi dari filem 2016, Ola Bola The Musical adalah kisah perpaduan, kesungguhan dan persaudaraan. Mengisahkan perjalanan “Tauke” Chow Kwok Keong, pasukan Kapten yang bertekad untuk memimpin pasukan Harimau Malaya ke Olimpik, dan kawan baiknya, pengulas sukan yang sangat baik Rahman. Mereka bertemu dengan penjaga gol pasukan, Muthu, striker bintang pasukan Ali dan seluruh pasukan yang berwarna-warni, dan melalui impian dan cabaran perjalanan mereka ke Olimpik.
