Title:Shades of Shadow

Based on Alain de Button’s acclaimed book ‘The Course of Love’, Kenny Shim Collective explores the human intricacies in a thought-provoking dance work entitled Shade of Shadows, that challenges and reflects the nature of human relationships. Set in a space where they must confront one another, the dancer explore the past and present; expression thoughts, emotions and memories of their relationships towards each other. Featuring 4 musicians, the piece encourages the audience to ride in a rollercoaster of emotions through the world of movement and soundscape.

In Vincentini’s collaboration with the Malaysian dancers, ‘Human’ explores the entwined nature of movement and emotion, while looking at humanities current condition. Vincentini believes that dance can reveal the complexity of our intimate connections to each other, without compromising entertainment.
