Synopsis
Fragments in a life’s journey between the traditional and the modern world. In the arts and Islamic sections, in the cradle of dreams and reality, amidst angst and calmness. A woman performs the traditional art of the Eastern Mak Yong [Kelantan] which ripples with the Northern Mek Mulung [Kedah] as she sings the Mak Yong of the Riau Islands. The woman moves and laments of being loved and being praised, being flattered upon by beauty, the struggles of adoring being adored and in stumbling within.
Section By Stesen is about the pauses, and stops a woman faces in her journey of the caprices of life.
