“Mother Courage & Her Children”
Set in 17th century Europe during the Thirty Years’ Religious War, the courageous mother brings a mute daughter and two honest sons, following an army from country to country with her cart doing a small business. The courageous mother makes money off the war on the road, but ends up losing her children’s lives.
